  I went for my first visit ever to Mdental last week based on their five star reviews here on google I felt confident in my choice, even though they were the most expensive out of three dentists I contacted in Palmerston North ($155 for general scaling/polishing appointment).
  The staff where very friendly and kind and immediately put me at ease. The dentist was very gentle (normally I find scaling to be quite painful).
  I felt however that my appointment (20mins) was very short considering the cost and I was disappointed to see when I got home the dentist had missed some staining between my bottom front teeth. I am not sure what the norm in NZ is anymore (I have been living overseas for the last few years) but expected the appointment to be around an hour.
